Gulshan Shahzadi is born and bought up

in UAE. Has completed her Bachelor of physiotherapy in 2015 and Master of

Physical Therapy in 2020 from Gulf Medical University Ajman. She is topper with

GPA score 3.98 and has high academic and research enthusiasm. Her keen interest

in Cardiac Rehabilitation made her perform clinical trails on Post coronary angioplasty. She proved in her research that Power walking along with cardiac rehabilitation helps in improving health-related quality of life (HQoL), functional exercise capacity (FEC), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and metabolic equivalent of tasks (METs) in patients who went post coronary

angioplasty. Her research was published in Physiotherapy Research International Journal on 06/07/2021

(https://doi.org/10.1002/pri.1919 ) with

high clinical impact. She holds clinical experience since 2015 in the field of orthopedic, sports, pediatric, manual therapy, neurological and cardiac rehabilitation. Currently she is working at Thumbay Hospital Ajman.

Maha AbouElnaser is a physical therapist graduated from university of Sharjah, who is done investigations into a whole new technique in treating scoliotic patients with specific inclusion criteria, started in May 2020, due to the incident of covid later on, less participants were included in this study that has been published as a pilot trial in 2022. Even though the results have shown good prognosis for the cases who completed the treatment plan, more investigations have been promised by Dr. Maha to be followed.

Maria Rofaeil is a freshly graduate physiotherapist, where she specializes in assessing and treating different patients by creating different rehabilitation programs and exercises as she regularly attends various sessions, workshops and conferences to add up more knowledge and experience to her. – She graduated from Ahfad University for Women in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree, where she gained an overall of 210 credit hours learning different courses at this university from August 2015 till December 2021, during these years she maintained and collected as much knowledge as she could, where she graduated with 6 other certificates in different fields; 1/ Community Based Health First Aid Certificate in October 2015, from the Sudanese Red Crescent. 2/ Also in collaboration with ElBashir Elrayh Public Library she has completed 24 hour training course in computer skills in April 2016. 3/ She attended a Physiotherapy workshop at Sharg Alneel hospital during 30th of November to the 1st of December 2018 signed by Sudanese Society for Surgery of Hand (SdSSH). 4/ Certificate of appreciation was awarded to her from Online Science Platform for completing a week knowing more about THERAPEUTIC EXERCISES in July 2020. 5/ She then had a certificate of participation as a competitor in Hult Prize under the banner “Leading a Generation to Change the World” from the 1st November- 20th of December 2020. 6/ Her last certificate was given in honor of attending the 2nd Sudanese Physiotherapy Conference in August 2021. – She had been recognized by her uniqueness for her leadership, communication and presenting skills. As a result, she participated on the World Refugee Day on the 20th of June when she was only 9 years old. Furthermore, she has been invited to participate by the student’s speech in the World Physiotherapy Day on the 2021 done by the Sudanese Physiotherapy Specialists Association (SPTSA); this highlights the significance and intelligence reflected by Maria’s work

of Physiotherapy students from the Gulf Medical University, Ajman, U.A.E.(2000 2004 batch). First student turned staff for the GMC Hospital (now Thumbay Hospital, Ajman – Jan 2005) During my varied experiences working as a Physiotherapist in the UAE, (in Al Zahra hospital, Sharjah and now in Social Services Department, Govt. Of Sharjah) I have undertaken various lead roles in mediating International workshops; training undergraduate students; co-ordinating and achieving various KPI goals; setting-up the Physio Department etc. Being an avid learner, I kept myself abreast with the latest in Physiotherapy and did specialization in Aquatic Therapy Rehab; Women’s Health Physiotherapy and Ergon Techniques to name a few. Presently, as an ongoing PhD – Public Health scholar, am researching on the awareness amongst the women of the UAE (both nationals and expats), about how Physiotherapy can help them prevent the so-called unavoidable issues during their oldage.
